Abstract:

Kawasaki Disease (KD) is an acute, self-limiting vasculitis predominantly affecting children below 5 years of age. Although conventional therapy with IVIG and aspirin remains the mainstay of treatment, a subset of patients experience prolonged immune dysregulation, recurrent fevers, gastrointestinal disturbances, and poor appetite even after resolution of acute inflammation.
This report presents the case of a 4.6-year-old female child with recurrent febrile and gastrointestinal episodes following a diagnosis of Kawasaki Disease, managed successfully with individualized homeopathic constitutional therapy. The case demonstrates improved immune stability, normalization of appetite, and cessation of monthly relapses, highlighting the potential role of homeopathy as an adjunctive immune-modulatory therapy.
