Alopecia Areata (AA) is a chronic, autoimmune, non-scarring hair loss disorder with significant psychological impact and high relapse rates. Modern treatments like corticosteroids and immunosuppressants offer temporary relief and are associated with potential side effects. Study design: AA across multiple centers of Dr. Batra’s Positive Health Clinics in India. 30 diagnosed patients were treated exclusively with Fluoric Acid and monitored for a total of 6 years (including 3 years of post-treatment follow-up).

Results: Demonstrated substantial hair regrowth in the majority of patients, with a notably lower relapse rate compared to conventional treatments.

Conclusion: This study underscores the efficacy of Fluoric Acid in treating AA and highlights its potential for long-term management.
